OUR HISTORY
African Beekeeping Solutions (ABS) is a South African beekeeping organization dedicated to the installation, management, and maintenance of honeybee hives to support pollinator health, biodiversity, and sustainable agriculture.
Beyond beekeeping, ABS empowers communities through practical training in beekeeping, vegetable farming, and poultry farming, creating long-term, sustainable income-generating opportunities.
To date, ABS has positively impacted over 11,700 households in the Northern KwaZulu-Natal (KZN) region, producing approximately 10 tonnes of honey annually. African Beekeeping Solutions is proudly registered with the Department of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries (DAFF) under registration number MP175.
